*  Can grow 20 – 30 m long .
*  Blue flowers with bronze new growth. The lilac-blue flowers are
    large, showy, and held in foot-long racemes like enormous
    clusters of grapes. The fragrance is sweet, intense, blooms in
    late spring, with a lighter flush again in summer. Provide
    this vigorous grower with a sturdy structure.
*  Prefers moist rich well drained soils.
*  Prefers sunny, to semi-shaded
*  Frost tolerant
*  Native to China
